The Standard King Room was a slice of paradise with a spacious layout and a stunning sea view. Nearby restaurants like Tropical Paradise Restaurant served fresh salads that were bursting with flavor. Plus, the cafe next door offered a breakfast that fueled my daily adventures.
While the hotel’s central location is convenient, the noise from markets outside can be a bit much. The breakfast options were limited, and it lacked a local vibe that would truly enhance the experience.

the hotel might have been okay if it wasn’t for the broken door lock and rude staff. i truly expected some sort of complimentary gesture for these inconveniences, but no. also, don’t count on breakfast—there was none, which is shocking in the hospitality industry. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t, sadly.

The location is perfect, right across from the ferry wharf, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and comfortable with great air conditioning. I really enjoyed the balcony view, which offered a nice slice of local life below. Additionally, the café next door served a delicious breakfast that fueled my adventures. One downside was that there’s no elevator, so climbing stairs to my room after a long day was a bit tiring. Although I noticed some ants, it seemed to be a common issue on the island. Overall, the hotel provided a solid base for my stay, but a bit more consideration for accessibility would be appreciated.

During my 6-night stay, I appreciated the spaciousness of the Standard King Room and the comfortable bed that made resting after a day of exploring enjoyable. The hotel's proximity to various attractions, including the Tarpon feeding dock and several diving services, made it a convenient base for my activities on the island. The included breakfast was adequate, though a wider selection would have been nice. Overall, while there were some issues with hot water and ice availability, the central location was definitely a highlight, allowing easy access to local restaurants and bars.

The hotel's proximity to various attractions made exploring easy.
I struggled with the lack of breakfast options and felt misled since I assumed it was included. Additionally, the climbing of four flights of stairs after a long day was quite exhausting. To top it off, my room had limited amenities, such as only one water bottle provided despite multiple guests.

Request a room on a lower floor to avoid the inconvenience of climbing many stairs, especially after a long day.

The hotel is conveniently located right near the ferry dock, making it easy to explore nearby islands. The adjoining café served delicious breakfast that set us up for our daily bike riding adventures. Our room had a stunning sea view balcony that provided a perfect backdrop to relax after a long day of exploring.
The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying our gear upstairs a bit cumbersome.
